God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life!

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16, NIV

Jesus said, " I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly (an enjoyable and meaningful life in a right relationship with God)." John 10:10

Receiving this life is simple as A B C (A = Admit, B = Believe, C = Confess)

Truth 1: God Rules

Who is in charge at your home? God created everything. He is in charge of everything. In the Bible, Revelation 4:11 says, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being."

Truth 2: We Sin

Have you ever done anything wrong? Sin is when we do what we want to do instead of what God wants us to do. The Bible says everyone sins, or disobeys God. Our sin separates us from God. In the Bible, Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

A = ADMIT: Admit to God that you are a sinner. Sin is doing what we want to do, not what God wants us to do. Ignoring God or putting Him off until later is also just the same as doing "bad things." Read Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. Turn away from your sin (repent). Read Acts 3:19 and 1 John 1:9. Our sin separates us from God, so we cannot know His love and plans for us.

Truth 3: God Provided

God is holy and must punish sin. God sent His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment we deserve. In the Bible, John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."

B = BELIEVE: Believe that Jesus is God's Son and accept God's forgiveness from sin. Read John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 5:8, Acts 4:12, and Ephesians 2:8-9. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for our sin. We cannot work or earn our way to Him. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross.

Truth 4: Jesus Gives

What is the best gift you have ever received? Jesus took our punishment for sin by giving His life, and He gives us His righteousness. God sees us as if we lived the perfect life Jesus lived. This is the best gift ever! The the Bible, 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "God made Him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God."

Truth 5: We Respond

Everyone has a choice to make. Will you trust Jesus as your Savior and Lord? You can turn away from self and sin and turn to Jesus. In the Bible, Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

C = CONFESS / COMMIT: Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10). We must choose to receive Jesus (John 1:12, John 3:1-8). Commit your life to Him (live for Him, doing your best to obey what He has told us to do in the Bible) Read Luke 9:23.
